Zrusso Biol 368 week 14
Electronic Notebook
I used the .txt file that Alex and Bobby created last week in class and ran my own runs of GenMAPP and MAPPFinder to correlate our answers and I received the same results that they did for increased and decreased GO Terms as well as the most significant genes as determined by the genes with with lowest P-values. my data can be found in the .zip file at the bottom of the page titled 'ZR MRSA'
Increased GO Terms
- amine biosynthetic process
- cellular amino acid biosynthetic process
- cellular nitrogen compound biosynthetic process
- antiport activity
- branched chain family amino acid metabolic process
- aspartate family amino acid metabolic process
- threonine metabolic process
- oxidation reduction
- vitamin binding
- oxidoreductace activity
Decreased GO Terms
- pathogenesis
- multi-organism process
- external encapsulating structure
- high-affinity iron ion transport
- extracellular region
- membrane part
- protein complex binding
- immunoglobin binding
- respiratory chain
- periplasmic space
