Method
- Test varying concentrations of inducer PoPS Input and see the PoPS Output.
Test Construct Promoter
- Test varying concentrations of inducer and measure PoPS Input.
- A GFP reporter gene will be used to measure inputand the fluorescence converted into generic units of rate of GFP synthesis per cell.

Data Analysis
- The data collected for each test construct will be absorbance (O.D.600) and fluorescence at time intervals for each concentration of inducer used.
- This raw data is converted into rate of GFP synthesis per cell for the inputs and outputs
Results
- Transfer function: Take one time point on the combined 3D graph, so end up with input vs outputs, and measure relationship between the two.
- Response time: Can be given by going back to raw data and measuring how long it takes for input t0 result in output, so how long from addition of inducer does it take to get a specific level of output.
- Define threshold levels: Minimum and maximum can be seen on 3D graph.
- Noise-Signal fluctuation: Can be derived by studying the data and comparison of repeats
- Leakiness of device: This can be given by looking at control where there is no inducer present.
