I work in the Center for Information and Communication Studies http://cics.cci.utk.edu at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I learned about OpenWetWare from DataONE open lab notebook project. I've joined OpenWetWare because I am interested in creating a wiki-based notebook for using some species distribution modeling software. I need to be able to reference my own notes and share the notes with others, who might ultimately add to whatever protocol I come up with.
