Objective Today we'll be taking 1 mL aliquots of Lysozyme-AuNP and BSA-AuNP, centrifuge these, and add directly to the fibers different treatment to see what is the effect on the fibers depending on the treatment. In addition, we will synthesize lysozyme AuNP's with added salt, in order to see if these solutions would make fibers with salt added since the begginning. Procedure Aliquots of 1mL were prepared, and centrifuged. After they were centrifuged, they were taken and tested after removing the supernatant, by adding different buffers, chelators and solvents to the fibers.
