UTAustin MBS PDA:TravelAward
The MBS postdoc association provides funding up to $2000 to attend conferences as part of our goal to improve the standing of postdocs in the department. Please check the official UT page for the award [1] for the most up to date information and the required forms!
Eligibility
Any postdoc in the department who: 1) plans to present work at a conference during their employment in the MBS department and 2) has not already received the award in the previous 2 years can apply, although preference is given for first-time awardees. If you're planning to present your work (poster or oral presentation) you should think about applying! Awardees will be chosen by a small committee of faculty members.
Deadlines
The awards are given three times each year, with the deadlines being in the first week of December as well as the second week of April and July. Of course, 'please check at the official award website' [2] to make sure these dates haven't changed.
