Results

Experiment 1
There were no observed inflammotin proteins in humans who received a placebo dosage. The most inflammotin was found in humans, who were give the 15 mg treatment. Figure 1 shows that the amount of inflammotin produced in humans is under 100 pg/mL for the three dosages under 15mg (0, 5, and 10mg).

Experiment 2
Figure 2, however, shows that inflammotin levels in rats that received no LPS and in those who received 10mg of LPS were within 2 pg/mL of each other. The inflammotin protein levels in the rats were found to be 5 times less than those in humans for a 10 mg dose of LPS.

Analysis

Experiment 1 Humans
Anova was chosen for humans because there were more than 2 groups that were being analyzed. The Anova P-value is 1.40083382702518E-16, which is below .05 meaning that we can begin to test significance. Using the corrected P-Value (Bonferroni), which we found to be 2.33E-17, it proves that the data was significant.

Experiment 2 t-test
t-test was chosen for rats because there were only 2 groups to compare. The P-value determined from this t-test was found to be .8674035, and since it is not less than .05 we can determine that the data is not significant.
