Maintaining ARPE-19 cells

• ARPE-19 cells are grown on the surface of a T-25 flask
• Cells are maintained at 37 C and 5% CO2 in DMEM/F12 + 10% FBS + 100x pen-strep-glutamine + 10 mM HEPES (pH 7.4)
• When cells have reached 80% confluence, they are diluted and split into new flasks
