OWW presentation on June 12?
- RS 15:09, 9 May 2006 (EDT): Hey Stephen, There's going to be a workshop at Imperial College for iGEM (a student design competition in biology). I was wondering whether you would be willing to do a quick presentation on OWW there. There was a similar workshop in Boston and Jason presented OWW there. A rough outline of the presentation given by Jason Kelly in Boston is at OpenWetWare:Presentations/iGEM 2006 Teach the teachers workshop. If you're interested and have time, let me know and I can give you more details.
- RS 17:01, 9 May 2006 (EDT): Thanks for being willing to take this on (pending your thesis defense constraints of course)! I've added answers to your questions on OpenWetWare talk:Presentations/iGEM 2006 Teach the teachers workshop. Feel free to post more questions, notes etc. there. (To consolidate discussion).
Flexible science databases
Stephan, After the recent steering committee meeting, it was decided that we make the idea thread about flexible science databases a full discussion page. So I have moved the page to OpenWetWare:Software/Flexible_Science_Databases. I will make a more structured discussion in the near future. Hope to hear from you. --Lucks 20:25, 3 April 2006 (EDT)
Hi Stephan, Wow, you've been busy on the wiki. That's great. Let us know if there is anything I can do to help, and don't hesitate to ask questions. If you are interested, please take part in any of the OpenWetWare steering committee discussions as well. --Sri Kosuri 18:30, 25 February 2006 (EST)
I think I know what teh problem is, our namespace starts with a capital C. I will make a new namespace.
- Already fixed... check out Nikolai's user talk page for an explanation. --Sri Kosuri 09:48, 3 March 2006 (EST)
I don't know of a great way to do this. One thing you can do is have changes to pages on your watchlist emailed to you. However, that precludes you having things on your watchlist that you don't want emailed to you. I will look into it. This is probably a very useful feature for the future. One thing that may interest you is the Custom Recent changes feature that was recently added. Check out Austin's page on the extension. --Sri Kosuri 17:53, 6 March 2006 (EST)
code from pdf files
I already did this a while back, so don't bother... --Sri Kosuri 11:47, 7 March 2006 (EST)
