User talk:Felipe Leprevost

Hi there,

I noticed that you made an edit to Knight:Purification of His-tagged proteins/Denaturing. Normally the etiquette on OpenWetWare is that people don't edit the protocols of other labs. If they do have a suggestion, they just leave a note on the talk page. Because Knight:Purification of His-tagged proteins/Denaturing starts with "Knight:", you know it belongs to the Knight lab. If you do want to make a new version of a lab-specific protocol, people usually copy and paste the protocol to a new page. For example, I copied and pasted the protocol with your changes to User:Felipe Leprevost/Purification of His-tagged proteins/Denaturing. Or you can make a general protocol (like DNA ligation) that anyone can edit.

The reason for this rule is that different labs have different versions of protocols, and so it is informative to keep that diversity of protocols on OpenWetWare.

Let me know if you have any questions and welcome to OpenWetWare.
