Steve Koch 00:38, 17 April 2009 (EDT): Ladies and gentlemen, we have shotgun clones! Awesome! I'm really excited about the prospect of identifying what the fragment is based on the shotgun DNA mapping. So cool that it's going to be a blind test of the method. Should we plan on next Wednesday for working together?
Andy Maloney 01:27, 17 April 2009 (EDT): Wednesday sounds great. I'm still waiting for the objective to come in for collimation but, as soon as I get it, it should be a shoe in for the rest of the optics. Great job Anthony. I wasn't really clear earlier today what an awesome step you just made. Really great. Looks like I have a lot to do before Wednesday.
- Steve Koch 01:45, 17 April 2009 (EDT): I was actually talking about working with Anthony in Osley lab -- so I could show him the ligation stuff I did. Not even sure if that's really necessary anymore, but we had talked about it. I think you have more time than by Wednesday. We also need to make sure that tethering is "going." I.e. where are the (good) microspheres? Do we have popping buffer still (from Diego)? etc.
- Andy Maloney 01:48, 17 April 2009 (EDT): Phew! Still doesn't mean I need to start slacking.
Anthony Salvagno 17:57, 17 April 2009 (EDT):we should go through the fridge and organize it into stuff that is definitely good and stuff that might be good (but is def worth practicing with). I haven't talked with Mary Ann or Kelly about you coming over here. I could ask them on Monday.
