Sara Beier

I have been working in the field of aquatic microbial ecology at the Max Planck Institute for Limnology at the River Unit in Schlitz and at the Department for Physiological Ecology in Ploen. I started my PhD in Uppsala in summer 2007 focusing on chitin degradation with the major aim to link functional features of bacteria with their phylogeny.
