Objective

Make more PVA/clay beads, analyze metal uptake with ICP, dye uptake UV-vis analysis on Na montmorillonite and PVA/clay beads (batch 3).

Lab Protocol

  • PVA/clay beads and Na Mont. were centrifuged to allow for ease of solution extraction for analysis of UV-vis.

Notes

ICP was not picking up samples properly. We were unable to analyze metal uptake samples.
