Entry title I ran a reaction with .25 g of gel 185 ul of au 163 ul of protein and 1662 ul of water. 1 ml was removed from the viles and transferred into an epindorf tube after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, and 30 minutes. The solution from 1 minute trail took the longest to turn purple- happened sometime after two hours. The solution from the 5 minute trial turned dark purple before and other trials and developed some very dark particles. Eventually the color of the solution lightened and the particles appear almost black. The rest of the tubes all darkened gradually over time. The solutions in the 25 and 30 minute vials started to gain a light pigment around 40 minutes.
