Fluorescence of Supernatant The fluorescence of the supernatant acquired from 5 mL samples that were allowed to incubate with varying concentrations of Rhodamine B for 24 hours was measured. Samples were prepared as described by Nicole. The Fluorimeter was run using an excitation wavelength of 520 nm and emissions were measured from 540-700 nm. Results The data was not taken off of the fluorescence computer before Spring Break, so data will not be available until next week.
