10/23/12 Thaw new cell stocks: K-562 and SK-N-SH from ATCC New Cell Stocks K-562: recommended media is IMDM (10% FBS, 1% pen/strep) SK-N-SH: recommended media is EMEM (10% FBS, 1% pen/strep) Thaw and spin down in 10 mL of the appropriate complete medium (3 min, 1000 rpm, room temp) Resuspend pellet grow in 4 mL and grow in a 25 cm small starter flask for 2 days (5% CO2, 37°C)
