My lab is in the Biophysics Group, part of the Physics Department at the University of the Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

Research Interests

  • Stochasticity in gene expression and signaling
  • Phenotypic variability as survival strategy
  • Control in synthetic genetic circuits
  • Evolution of social behaviour (for now, in microorganisms)
  • Anomalous diffusion, symbolic dynamics and hamiltonian chaos
