icons for protocols
icon could be added to protocols to highlight difficult steps
warn about critical steps; these may not be difficult but are crucial for the experiment, e.g. a heat incubation that has to be exactly x min but not longer;
help people plan how long steps will take; Torsten pointed out correctly here that it is not always clear to which part of the protocol "time required" refers; a section may be the natrual unit here
