Balazsi Lab
Welcome to our lab's Wiki!
We are a dynamic interdisciplinary research group at Stony Brook University, NY. [1].
We are affiliated with the Laufer Center for Physical and Quantitative Biology [2] and the Biomedical Engineering Department [3]
Our goal is to develop and use synthetic gene circuits as research tools in the fields of evolution, development, and cancer.
Here is a description of the research we do in layman's terms: [4]. Or here is the PDF: [5].
Finding Genius Podcast: We are building gene circuits to control cancer. [6].
We are proud to be equipped with FluidFM technology [7]. We use a FluidFM OMNIUM to manipulate and investigate live single cells [8].
