Tasklist Attend Seminar Attend Group Meeting Assign data presentation dates (10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29) Prepare Au/Zn core-shell NP Freeze dry AuNP Au/Zn core-shell NP Use same stock solutions from yesterday plus the AuNP formed overnight 1 mL AuNP (His/NH4OH) + 1mL His + 1 mL NH4OH + 1 mL ZnAc2 + 6 mL H2O 1 mL AuNP (His/NaOH) + 1mL His + 1 mL NaOH + 1 mL ZnAc2 + 6 mL H2O 1 mL AuNP (Cys/NH4OH) + 1mL Cys + 1 mL NH4OH + 1 mL ZnAc2 + 6 mL H2O 1 mL AuNP (Cys/NaOH) + 1mL Cys + 1 mL NaOH + 1 mL ZnAc2 + 6 mL H2O Place in oven at 80 C for the next 6 days Freeze dry AuNP Weigh 15 mL falcon tube with the cap Add 5 mL AuNP to tube, cap, & reweigh (I suggest using a small bottle to hold tube upright...leave cap dry) Replace cap with one with holes & reweigh. Be sure to label original cap, so it can be replaced. Flash freeze in liquid nitrogen Connect to lyophilizer and dry until Tuesday
