Description

Running UV vis on ATP.

100mM ATP (disodium ATP) = 0.1M ATP MW: 605.24g/mol mass: 0.605g/10mL

We tried to create a serial dilution:

The graphs from this data did not provide significant information.


  lower limit 1μL in 100mL → 0.00001 M     ATP 1
              1μL in 50mL  → 0.00002 M     ATP 2
  too high    1μL in 10mL  → 0.0001 M      ATP 3
  too high           stock → 0.1 M         ATP STK
              2μL in 50mL  → 0.00004 M     ATP 4
  too high    3μL in 50mL  → 0.00006 M     ATP 5
              2.5μL in 50mL → 0.00005 M    ATP 6
              1μL in 10mL  → 0.0001 M      ATP 3A

The data from this UV vis indicated either contamination or error so another UV vis was run with new samples.
