Remains of the Day

  • Doing 40 cycles of PCR (using DC6 and OomR at 62 degree annealing) on dead plant samples from California to test out nesting again. Will use in PCR with OomF and ITS4 primers (40 more cycles with 55 degree annealing).
  • Purified remaining fungal 35 ul of PCR product from the other day to repeat TRFLP. Hopefully by concentrating the product I can get detectable signals.
  • Started Solvita test on Eugenia's samples at 4 pm. Will read tommorow morn and again at 4 pm tommorow to see what happens.
