Task list Make red cabbage dye Initial analysis of the beads made Make red cabbage dye Cut the red cabbage into small pieces (about 0.1 to 1 inch squared) Put the cabbage in hot DI water and let them sit for 2 hours Occasionally stir the beads Initial analysis of beads After freeze drying, the beads turned greenish gray and clumped together into chunks; grinding or shaking the falcon tubes did not break the chunks down well The higher the percentage of clay, the greener the beads Masses of the beads are recorded here The beads were put in water, in hope that they would reswell.
