1-Propanol, Phosphate, KCl, Mb Reaction performed in Ocean Optics using standard procedures outlined in the entry on September 22, 2014. Reaction was done with 15 mg of lyophilized Mb protein + KCl in Phosphate buffer dissolved in 1-Propanol. The entire solution turned a distinct lime green color, and a noticeable amount of white precipitate formed at the bottom of the cuvette.
