 UVVis Spectra of porphyrin solutions with the following concentrations were collected:
 25μM
 12.5μM
 6.75μM
 3.375μM
 1.6875μM
 10 mL 50 μM of the following sulfate solutions were prepared:
 Na_{2}SO_{4}
 Fe_{2}(SO_{4})_{3}
 Al_{2}(SO_{4})_{3}

[math] \frac {142.07 g} {mol} \times \frac {50mmol} {L} \times \frac {10^3 mol} {1mmol} \times \frac {1 L} {1000mL} \times 10mL = 0.071035 g[/math]
0.071035 g Na_{2}SO_{4} in 10mL H_{2}O to prepare 50mM. Dilute to 50μM by using 10μL 50mM in 9.99mL H_{2}O.
Preparation of 50 μM 72 wt% Fe_{2}(SO_{4})_{3}
[math] \frac {72} {100} \times \frac {399.88 g} {mol} \times \frac {50mmol} {L} \times \frac {10^3 mol} {1mmol} \times \frac {1L} {1000mL} \times \frac 10mL = 0.144g [/math]
0.144 g 72 wt% Fe_{2}(SO_{4})_{3} in 10mL H_{2}O to prepare 50mM. Dilute to 50μM by using 10μL 50mM in 9.99mL H_{2}O.
Preparation of 50 μM Al_{2}(SO_{4})_{3}
