YPD 1L
Materials:
- 10 g of yeast extract
- 20 g of peptone
- If making plates, add 20 g of agar
- Filtered 40% (w/v) glucose solution (20 g in 50 ml of distilled water, heat to dissolve).
Protocol:
- Mix the dry ingredients and add distilled water up to 950 ml.
- Autoclave.
- Add the 50 ml of glucose solution to achieve a final concentration of 2% (w/v).
