NOH 10M

1. Weigh 39.997 g of NOH into a small beaker, or glass container.
2. Slowly add the KOH in cool deionized water, while it is dissolve by shaking. Rinse the glass container to ensure that all the NOH was transferred.
3. After all had dissolved, let the bottle stand until the temperature of the solution has equilibrated to room temperature.
4. Adjust the volume by adding deionized water until the bottom of the meniscus is resting level on the 100 ml mark.
5. NOH stocks havet o be store in plastic containers.
