Not sure if this would fly with people but I propose a mailing list that is signed up for a bunch of myNCBI searches. The idea being that there are groups/papers out there that I should be interested in but that I don't know of or think of regularly. If people added a search they were interested in to the mailing list's NCBI profile, subscribers could be introduced to new work pretty easily. The mailing list could receive updates once a week or at some other very low traffic rate.
I don't expect that overly specific or irrelevant searches would be a problem considering the size and cohesiveness of MITSBWG.
Would people sign up for this? Feedback welcome -BC
