Eric has studied neurodegeneration since the beginning of his Ph.D. program after finishing his Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Kent State University. The focus of his research is to develop a minimally invasive, non-pharmacological strategy to remove toxic Aβ plaques by using a magnetic hyperthermia strategy towards the treatment of AD/ADRD.
