We purchased two varieties of Netbooks as a convenient resource at the bench and for documentation purposes.

• Dell Inspiron mini 10 (1010)
• Emachines eM250

Install Issues

For each machine, there were some install issues. Here are listed the resources used to establish fully functional machines.

Dell

• Video Card

• Wireless Card
  • Under the System-Administration-Hardware Drivers; select and install the proprietary Broadcom STA wireless driver.
• Touchpad
  • Check if the Touchpad is locked with the Fn-F7 key
