Dr. Pinal is the Director of the Dane O. Kildsig Center for Pharmaceutical Processing Research (CPPR). The Center is one of over 50 such Centers established by the National Science Foundation and is the only one devoted to pharmaceutical processing research. The Center was founded in 1995 and has four university members: Purdue University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Puerto Rico, and the University of Minnesota.
