Welcome to the Gerber Lab homepage

We explore post-transcriptional gene regulatory networks and their implications in disease. We use 'omics' tools like high-throughput RNA sequencing and proteomics to explore basic principles, and we apply 'classical' biochemical, genetic and cell biological methods to investigate functional aspects of RNA-protein interaction networks. Pls. get in contact if you are interested in joining us as PhD student (self-funded), summer student or intern. We can always need a good pair of hands (and a brain) that contribute to this exciting area of biomedical research.

We are located at the University of Surrey, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS), School of Biosciences & Medicine, Dept. of Microbial Sciences, Guildford, GU2 7XH, Surrey, United Kingdom.
