Welcome to the Gerber Lab homepage !
We explore global and specific aspects of post-transcriptional gene regulation mediated by RNA-binding proteins and non-coding RNAs. We integrate '-omics' approaches like RNA sequencing and proteomics with 'classical' biochemical, genetic, and cell biological methods to investigate functional aspects of the RNA-protein interaction network, and how it is perturbed in human disease.
> Pls. contact us if you are interested in joining us as PhD student (self-funded), summer student or internship. We can always need a good pair of hands (and smart brain-power) that contribute to this exciting area of biomedical research.
We are placed in the Systems Biology Section of the Dept. of Microbial Sciences, University of Surrey, Guildford, GU2 7XH, Surrey, United Kingdom.
