Mini Prep With our overnight cultures, we made glyseral stocks to freeze in the -80 freezer. This is just incase one of our parts was actually transformed into the cells. We can then go back into these stocks and work with what we have rather than have to do it again. We followed the mini prep kit protocal in order to make the mini preps. This was basically isolation of plasmids in the cells from our overnight cultures. The mini preps were frozen for use on thursday.
