Entry title General Helen Had a really good chat with Fabiana this morning about where my project is headed and ways in which to control where it is headed. We also talked about stress levels and how I need to minimise those through planning my day and relaxing and realising that there's nothing bad that can come out of this project. That if the experiments 'fail' it's not that I have failed. It was really good to refocus and gain some perspective that helped me to relax. In the afternoon I took a 'stock take' of all of the embryos and staged those that hadn't been staged. I actually have plenty of embryos of the age I'm wanting to focus on (20-23) and so that's great news! I also learnt how to sharpen my tools and that is so nice to know that I can do that because they are so much sharper now and will be much easier to dissect with! Fabiana
