Purpose

  • Start DH5α-T1 cell growth on petri dish for future use.

Procedure

  • Plates plated from 2013/02/06 were transferred to fridge at 20°C due to neglect.
  • In order to ensure consistent cell growth for each experiment, a new dish was plated.
  • In a sterile environment, an autoclaved wooden stick was used to dip into the DH5α-T1 disk made on 2013/02/06 and strikes on a new LB+agar plate.
  • The dish was placed in -37°C for over night (16 hours).
