XAS:Equipment/RETSCH: S 1000

DESCRIPTION

S 1000 is a Ball Mill used to reduce any material to homogeneous powder.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Put the material to be powdered and some agate balls in the jar.
2. Open the cover A by rotating the two screws B.
3. Put in C the agate jar and in D a balancing weight.
4. Fix the jar and close the cover.
5. Press E to switch on the mill.
6. Fix the duration of the powdering by F.
7. Select the movement by G.
8. Choose the rotation velocity with the knob H.
9. Press the Start Button I to start the process.
