Use zymoprep I kit [1] or zymoprep II kit [2] from ZymoResearch.
Zymoprep I: Modifications to manufacturer's protocol
-- Resuspend pellet in 17 uL TE and use 1-2 uL for XLI Blue transformation.
Zymoprep II: Modifications to manufacturer's protocol
-- Spin down supernatant in fresh tubes a second time before applying to column.
-- Elute column in 20 uL TE, and then clean this product on a Qiagen column.
