Wikiomics:Interwiki map
Suggestions are welcome! Just modify the table below.
Example of usage
This interwiki feature is actually not restricted to wikis. For instance you can create links to articles using their DOI (Digital Object Identifier). doi:10.1093/bioinformatics/bti177
gives doi:10.1093/bioinformatics/bti177, and some text
gives some text.
Another example: pdb:1crn
will point to Wikiomics:Protein Data Bank entry 1crn: pdb:1crn.
Additional interwiki map
In addition to the Mediawiki interwiki map and the map derived from MeatBall, the following interwiki map is being used at Wikiomics and is restricted to sites that are actually mentioned in this wiki.
The list below can be edited according to your wishes, and will take effect only after manual verification. Don't put everything in, avoid prefixes which are likely to clash with languages (en, es, fr, zh, ...), titles involving colons, or Wikimedia projects. Unlike the first column suggests, none of the letters in the prefixes are case sensitive.

The map in question
Warning: URL prefixes are unfortunately limited to 125 characters in this wiki and the majority of Mediawiki-powered wikis.
The format is self-explanatory. Names on the left are case-insensitive. If present, $1 will be replaced by the argument, otherwise the argument is simply appended.
