Xinmei Feng
Xinmei Feng earned her Ph.D in Food Microbiology in the Department of Microbiology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She was working with interactions of Rhizopus Oligosporus, yeasts and lactic acid bacteria in barley tempeh fermentation.
Currently she is a postdoc in Stefan's group, working with links between microbial community and function in biogas reactors, a collaboration project with Tema water in Linköping University. In this project, she used molecular methods such as real-time PCR, T-RFLP, cloning and sequencing to investigate the microbial community in biogas reactor and further correlate with process function.
