Steve Koch 12:22, 15 June 2009 (EDT): Took M-series DAQ card out of kochlab-daq1 and put into kochlab-daq2. Also some other things:

  • ran gpudate /sync again, Windows Defender installed
  • cannot install IE7 security patch
  • Added kochlab/labusers to local administrators group

Steve Koch 12:27, 15 June 2009 (EDT): Getting a lot of errors when I tried to change the screen saver options.

It's a pretty serious crash result, and related to the fact that IE7 doesn't work (same thing that happened on KT's machine). I'm trying to fix by reinstalling IE7

  • Used the file IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe to reinstall. Can run IE7 now.
