Biography
I am now a master candidate in Center for Biometrics and Security Research of the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Science. My supervisor is Associate Professor Kaiqi Huang and under the group of Professor Tieniu Tan.
During Feburary to August 2008, I was a Intern in Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Science, supervised by Associate Professor Kaiqi Huang.
During January to November 2007, I was a Intern in Center for research on Optoelectronics, Information, Technology & Color Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology.
From January 2007 to August 2008, I was a teamleader of Team Lingjing, and Competed in Web Development of Mircosoft Imagine Cup 2007. With the work named Knowledge 360, which is a web site containing panorama picture merging and virtual scenes reconstruction techniques, Our team won the Forth Place at the World Wide Final in Seoul, Korea. During September 2006 to November 2007, I , with my teamates,focus on the study about Head Up Display in Automatics. Our team finally introduce a "attention caputre technique" into it and develop a solution which is a kind of low-cost Head Up Display without disturbing drivers. This solution won the 1st Prize in "The Challenge Cup", the national university student extracurricular academic science and technology work competition. In Feburary 2007, I take participate in the Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling(ICM), and won the Honorable Mention with other two of my teamates. When I was a senior student, I was granted the T-more Student Innovation Award which is the highest reward of Beijing Institute of Technology.
I was also often as not to join and organize some activities for popular science and technique, and took a co-chairman of the BITSAST(Beijing Insitute of Technology Student Association for Science & Technology),during September 2007 and June 2008.
