Making more beads We try to re-swell the beads. They soaked in water over two days, but remain coalescent. We try ultrasonic vibration to loosen them up. We decide to make new beads in any case. We triple the procedure used last time [see Dominique's notebook] - we started with 10% clay beads We UV-Vis the cabbage dye at different pH. At pH 1, the dye is bright red and absorbs at a wavelength of 510 nm. Notes UV vis software: use right click > cross hair > display to find exact wavelength and intensity of absorbance
