Fructose only AuNP synthesis We ran UV Vis for the 45 samples prepared yesterday. independent of fructose concentration, only pH 11 showed a pink color, indicating the formation of nano particles. a brownish precipitate is visible for some of the solutions, mostly at higher concentrations of Fructose. in BSA, the electrons for reduction of Au+ most likely come from the Amino terminus of the amino acid chain. Additionally, electrons can come from the aromatic ring Sample preparation Images Pink only at pH 11. This image shows the formation of nanoparticles for 1.25 mM Fructose.
