Samples of Coffea Arabica blended and roasted in five different continents but available in the United States for purchase are selected based on a light roasting profile. The whole bean samples from Asia, America, and Europe were ground in a home-quality grinder (KitchenAid BCG211) for 30 seconds. The coffee samples will be frozen until used. A commercial coffee sample is used as a trial for all the preliminary analyses and method development. Its result will not be taken into account as part of the results. Coffee from Africa was donated by Rahmah Alessa.
