New Printed Structures The sample holder on the BET is not large enough to hold the plastic samples that were created over the summer, so new, smaller samples are being created. ABS samples (3 solid prisms, and 3 porous structures) each with dimensions of 5x5x30 mm were printed using an extrusion temperature of 220°C and a platform temperature of 115°C. 10% MOF-5 samples were printed using an extrusion temperature of 230°C and a platform temperature of 115°C. Additionally, the platform was coated with an ABS/Acetone slurry and allowed to dry prior to printing.
