Education

Research interests

I have been fascinated by nucleic acids since I learned about the basis of genetic inheritance. As a chemist, I view these biopolymers as functional and adaptable macromolecules with limitless potential. Therefore, my past, current, and future research aims to study the unique capabilities of natural and synthetic nucleic acids and use them to solve challenges in health, medicine, and the environment.
