April 1, 2015 Objective Prepare GCMS Standard GCMS Analysis Description Benzhydrol Standard Dilute 0.05 g Benzhydrol in 2 mL methanol. Add to sample vial and run on GC. Analyze reaction products from March 31, 2015 The method that was used did not detect benzhydrol or benzophenone. A new method should be developed in order to ensure detection. The method should be modified to increase the initial temperature of the oven and to modify the temperature ramp.
