Research Interests

Neurogenesis and Gliogenesis of Ascl1 progenitor cells
Lineage tracing of Ascl1 (previously Mash1), a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor involved in neuronal differentiation and specification during CNS development. Studying the novel and distinct functions of Ascl1 in neuronal versus oligodendrocyte progenitors during embryogenesis.
