I'm a pretty well-seasoned sailor in my spare time.
I was hired to transport a sloop ( The Mary C.) back in '83 to a new owner. The delivery took more time than I anticipated as I trenched out under the bridge and managed to wedge it free just last month. I'm proud of my efforts to prove that bridges can be made to withstand more than we think they can.

I'm contemplating taking on my next delivery. I've not been on a boat for a bit but rumor has it I may get a chance to park a real classy item under a similar structure near Newport. I'm already measuring the clearance at high tide to the low point of the Claiborn Pell Bridge.
