No
Do you have any experience in molecular biology (electrophoresis, PCR, etc)?
Yes; I've done PCR and ELISA, though not extensively.
Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience
Delong lab: Analyzed oceanic microbial 16S sequences, mainly by placing them in a phylogenetic tree. I did PCR and sequencing reactions, but not extensively.
Yannas lab: I performed collagenase digestions and used ELISA to determine the level of a growth factor in rat wound fluid.
Caltech SURF Program: I developed protocols for using Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Magnetic Resonance Microscopy to study coral, anemones, and sea snails.
I am currently UROPing in the Belcher lab.
