Our lab studies the role of mitochondrial proteins during key processes in the plant life cycle such as embryo development, gametogenesis and fertilization. Using genomics, molecular biology and biochemical tools we intend to understand the molecular basis of the regulatory mechanisms underlying these processes in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
